Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage food and beverage delivery from kitchen to table efficiently while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Use reservation management platforms like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
- Foster guest relations by providing excellent customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
- Serving or host/hostess experience that emphasizes guest relations and customer service excellence.
