About the role
Job Description:
The Vice President reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. In such capacity, the Vice President will work closely and cooperatively with the President, support the President’s initiatives, and be a constructive member of the President’s Cabinet. This reporting structure may be changed at any time by the President with written notice to the Vice President.
Minimum Qualifications:
Managing the operational functions of the Office of Marketing and Communication in furtherance of the mission of the university;
B. Serves as the senior communications and marketing adviser and leads national, regional, and local earned media relations building efforts;
C. Shapes and articulates an administrative voice for strategic initiatives and crisis communications
D. Leads efforts to protect and promote the brand and sub-brands of the University and all of its entities;
E. Providing transparent leadership in support of the mission of the University and our faculty, staff, students, and patients;
F. Attracting, selecting, retaining, and advocating for outstanding faculty and staff members;
G. Engaging in and supporting long-range planning, budget formulation, and management for the University;
H. Complying with State of Ohio ethics and conflicts of interest laws applicable to public officials, including without limitation Ohio Revised Code Chapter 102 and Section 2921.42;
I. Participating as an integral member of the President’s Cabinet and University
