About the role
UK English Voice Actor — AI Speech Recording About The Role What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're working with leading AI research teams to improve how AI systems hear and process natural human speech — and we need professional UK English voice actors to make it happen.
This is a paid contract role for experienced voice-over artists and voice actors based in the United Kingdom. You'll take part in professional studio recording sessions, performing natural conversational dialogue that helps train the next generation of AI speech technology.
This project does not involve voice cloning.

- Session Format: In-person professional studio (locally assigned)
- Session Length: 4 hours per session (2–3 sessions total)
What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational UK English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue exchanges
- Vary tone, pacing, and delivery based on light direction from the session team
- Perform realistic dialogue that sounds unscripted, human, and authentic
- Bring your professional voice craft to help AI truly understand how people speak
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with relevant recording experience
- A native or near-native UK English speaker with a strong, authentic accent
- Based in the United Kingdom
- Comfortable performing natural conversational speech — not just scripted reads
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Fluent in English to a working communication level
Nice to Have
- Acting or performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or prior professional studio recording
- Comfort with dialogue-based and improvisational delivery styles
