About This Role

This Visual Merchandising Associate position enhances the in-store customer experience by creating visually appealing and strategically designed product displays. You will implement brand standards and marketing strategies to create captivating visual presentations that drive sales and showcase products effectively. The role requires close collaboration with store management and marketing teams to ensure displays are implemented on time, remain relevant, and align with ongoing promotional campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain visually appealing product displays that align with brand standards and seasonal campaigns
• Collaborate with store management and marketing teams to plan and execute visual merchandising strategies
• Monitor inventory levels and product placement to ensure display areas are well-stocked and organized
• Conduct regular store walkthroughs to evaluate the effectiveness of visual displays and make necessary adjustments
• Assist in training store team members on visual merchandising principles and best practices to ensure consistency throughout the store
• Stay informed about current retail trends and competitors' visual merchandising techniques to introduce innovative display ideas
• Support promotional events by creating themed displays and signage that engage customers and enhance their shopping experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment or a related field
• Basic knowledge of visual design principles and in-store product display techniques
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Nice to have:

• Post-secondary education or certification in visual merchandising, design, or marketing
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Proficiency in visual merchandising software or graphic design tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
