About This Role
This role is for a Visual Merchandiser who will ensure inspiring window displays and a tidy in-store presentation. The position involves giving the store a total visual merchandising makeover approximately once a month, with the goal of significantly increasing sales figures through effective product presentation.
Responsibilities
- Present products in an attractive, sales-oriented manner, following visual merchandising guidelines while also contributing your own input
- Dress mannequins in the store in an inspiring way, reflecting current trends
- Analyze sales figures from the merchandise management system and use this information to set up store layout and presentation
- Translate centrally developed sales strategies and concepts into store layout
- Stimulate sales by presenting goods in a logical place
- Guide, train, and advise colleagues in an inspiring way on applying visual merchandising standards
- Take commercial action when an opportunity arises, for example, by responding to weather conditions by highlighting outdoor clothing when it snows
- Provide support to customers looking for an item or needing style advice at every opportunity
Requirements
- Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and communication skills
- Team spirit combined with the ability to work perfectly independently
- Education in retail and at least 1 year of experience in visual merchandising or a similar creative profession
- Analytical skills to translate sales figures into solutions
- Talent for planning and organization: ability to distinguish priorities and a fashionable eye for detail
- Knowledge of customer desires and the ability to translate this into a visual merchandising concept that can be implemented in the store
- Proficiency in the Dutch language
