Visual Designer

About This Role

This Visual Designer role is crucial for owning the graphic and creative output of the marketing team, addressing a current bottleneck in design as the company scales. You will transform campaign briefs into polished, on-brand creative materials for patients and providers, bringing much of the design work in-house that is currently handled by external contractors. The position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the visual identity of a mission-driven brand.

Responsibilities

• Design campaign creative for patients and providers across digital and print, including social assets, email, presentations, one-pagers, and event collateral
• Work closely with the marketing lead to accelerate campaign development and reduce turnaround times
• Support company brand and product marketing initiatives with leadership
• Build and maintain branded templates to enhance team efficiency
• Edit video and create motion graphics for campaigns and social media
• Ensure visual consistency and brand adherence across all touchpoints
• Utilize AI tools to expedite concepting, generate design options, and iterate quickly, sharing effective methods with the team
• Translate complex healthcare topics into clear, accessible, and human visuals

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in visual, graphic, or brand design
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Working proficiency in video editing and motion graphics
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative work (image generation, video, workflow automation)
• A portfolio demonstrating range across campaign creative, brand work, and motion/video
• Ability to deliver quality work at pace, managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities
• Clear communication and an easy working style with marketing, design, and leadership
• Care for the people you design for, producing accessible, inclusive, and human work

Nice to have:

• Experience in healthcare, public health, or other mission-driven organizations
• Experience maintaining or evolving a brand system
• Familiarity with Figma
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
