This virtual Physician Assistant role is with One Medical's Virtual Medical Team, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to patients in concert with their primary care providers. The team uses advanced technology and a team-based approach to care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The role suits a candidate with intellectual curiosity, inclusiveness, and a passion for transforming healthcare.
Responsibilities
Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
Engage in continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
Utilize specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
Requirements
Completion of master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and maintaining active NCCPA certification
In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
Currently licensed in one of these states: DC, MD, VA, or FL with ability to obtain additional state licenses
For FL: must have received Autonomous APRN (Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) status
For VA: Must have autonomous practice
Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
Current shifts range from (6 am - 5 pm ET, 11 am - 10 pm ET, 1 pm - 12 am ET)
