About the role
This role is for an experienced videographer to support a corporate video shoot for a healthcare project in Barcelona. The assignment involves working as a director of photography and camera operator during a two-day shoot at a central hotel location. The project requires technical proficiency with Sony FX3 cameras and the ability to manage simple lighting setups. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with a small team and ensuring high-quality footage for a professional corporate deliverable. Local knowledge and availability in Barcelona are essential, as this is an on-site engagement.
Responsibilities
- Operate Sony FX3 cameras during the shoot, ensuring optimal framing, focus, and exposure
- Collaborate with the creative team to achieve the desired visual style and meet project objectives
- Set up and manage basic lighting to enhance video quality as needed
- Assist with the setup and operation of lavalier microphones and tripods
- Provide or help source additional equipment such as lighting and tripods if required
- Maintain a professional and efficient workflow throughout the shoot
- Ensure all footage is captured according to the brief and technical specifications
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer or director of photography, ideally in corporate or healthcare settings
- Advanced knowledge of Sony FX3 cameras and related video equipment
- Ability to set up and operate basic lighting and audio equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for composition and lighting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be based in Barcelona and available for on-site work on 3 and 4 September
- Ability to provide or assist with sourcing lighting and tripod equipment
- Professional attitude and reliability
