Videographer

Job Scope

• Plan, shoot and edit creative short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Produce different types of content, including advertisements, brand storytelling, product videos, lifestyle content, educational videos, recruitment content, testimonials and interviews.
• Handle video production for events, award nights, automotive content, podcasts and behind-the-scenes (BTS) shoots.
• Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling based on campaign objectives and brand direction.
• Follow and adapt to current social media trends, viral formats, sounds and editing styles.
• Handle camera operation, lighting, audio recording and other production equipment.
• Edit videos with engaging transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, motion graphics and colour grading.
• Create content that is visually appealing and suitable for different social media formats and audiences.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative team to develop content ideas and campaigns.
• Assist in producing personal branding / IP content and other creative projects.
• Participate in on-location shoots, events and outdoor productions when required.
• Explore and incorporate AI tools and new technologies into the video production and creative process.
• Organise and maintain video footage, project files and production assets.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, Creative Media, Broadcasting or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating experience in commercial, social media and creative video production.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of camera operation, lighting, sound recording and video production techniques.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and current social media trends.
• Creative with a strong eye for visual composition, storytelling, pacing and aesthetics.
• Experience in advertising, brand storytelling, product videos, interviews, events or automotive content is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of photography, motion graphics and graphic design is an added advantage.
• Familiar with AI video/content creation tools is an advantage.
• Able to work independently from concept to final production.
• Good communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
• Proactive, creative and willing to experiment with new content formats and ideas.
• Willing to travel for shootings, events and outdoor productions when required.
