This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the studio: cameras, lighting, audio, switching, sets and all supporting equipment
Build a standard, documented setup for each format so a shoot is ready in minutes and can be reproduced exactly every time
Plan and run studio sessions with attorneys and guests, and batch shoots to get the most finished content from every session
Maintain, organize and troubleshoot all studio and field equipment, and recommend upgrades that measurably improve speed or quality
Light, frame and shoot multicam interviews, explainers, podcasts and talking-head segments to a broadcast standard
Record clean, professional audio, including microphone placement, multitrack recording, levels and monitoring
Produce and switch livestreams and podcasts, including on-screen graphics, in-studio guests and remote guests
Direct attorneys and guests on camera so they come across as confident, clear and natural
Shoot at firm events and on location when a project calls for it
Edit long-form YouTube videos and full podcast episodes from first cut to final export, including color, audio mix, graphics and captions
Deliver organized selects and attorney segments to the Video Editor & Motion Designer for ads and short-form content
Deliver every project to platform specifications and on the publishing schedule
Use AI tools daily to edit faster, including transcription, text-based editing, rough-cut assembly, multicam syncing, audio cleanup, captioning and upscaling
Find and test new tools, and build the ones that measurably save time into the standard process
Follow firm standards on AI use in public-facing work, and verify every AI-assisted output before delivery
Design, document and continually improve the full production process, from planning through publishing, with speed and efficiency as the measure
Own the media pipeline end to end: ingest, naming, shared storage, backups and the archive, so any clip can be found in minutes
Recommend the storage and backup setup for the Creative Director's approval, then run and maintain it
Track every project, version and deadline in the firm's project management system
Check every frame and caption for names, spellings, legal terms and on-screen claims before delivery
Apply the firm's brand system and compliance requirements to everything you produce
