About This Role
This role is for a video producer who can handle YouTube productions from recording to final video, including technical implementation. The producer will create video formats for YouTube and Twitch, both in the studio and on location, with an ideal candidate also capable of live production. The role involves working with hosts and editorial teams to ensure ideas become technically sound, high-quality productions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and technically implement video recordings, from camera and lighting setup to sound and recording
- Independently manage studio recordings, monitoring cameras, framing, sound, and recording, maintaining an overview even with multiple cameras
- Edit videos and be responsible for post-production, including image and sound editing, and final delivery for YouTube
- Develop and optimize setups and production workflows to regularly and reliably produce high-quality videos
- Supervise shoots in the studio and on location, solving technical problems quickly when necessary
- Technically implement live streams on YouTube or Twitch and control image and sound signals during the broadcast
Requirements
- Technically supported video productions for larger YouTube channels, creators, or comparable digital formats
- Independently plan, set up, and safely operate camera, lighting, and sound setups during a recording
- Experience with multi-camera recordings and independently managing a production
- Proficient in editing and post-production with common software and have a keen eye for image quality, light, and timing
- Experience with live streams, vision mixing, and streaming software like OBS or vMix is a significant advantage
- Work meticulously and independently, remain calm during technical problems, and be enthusiastic about implementing high-level YouTube and Twitch productions
