What You'll Do as a Video Producer
- Help conceptualize and write advertisements and product videos for BambooHR
- Breakdown scripts, create budgets, scout locations, schedule shoots
- Organize and facilitate production meetings
- Hire actors and crew
- Orchestrate production design and prop management
- Manage operations on set to maintain efficient production
- Assist in hitting post-production and distribution deadlines
About You
- Excellent writing and/or storytelling skills (be prepared to show us your stuff)
- Some familiarity with video production processes from script breakdown to post-production and distribution
- Acute attention to detail and efficient problem solver
- The ability to work with collaborative, interdisciplinary teams
- Strong presentation and speaking skills
- A resilient sense of humor and/or really sweet dance moves (we’ll take either)
Preferred
- Background in filmmaking or advertising
- Proficiency with scheduling and budgeting tools
- You enjoy producing (if you’re trying to become a director, this is probably not for you)
- Strong and active online presence – blogging, social channels, forums, etc.
