About The Role We are seeking a talented Senior Video Editor to join our newly formed creative team supporting a global enterprise B2B technology client. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining high standards for editing, workflows, and quality assurance within a high-volume video production environment. The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for producing polished, platform-optimized content across multiple campaigns, ensuring consistency and excellence in every deliverable. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the Director of Digital Production, Art Director, Motion Designers, and cross-functional teams to create engaging video content that aligns with strategic objectives. Additionally, you will mentor junior editors, help develop scalable post-production processes, and contribute to building a cohesive, efficient creative operation. Your expertise will set the tone for the team’s creative output, ensuring that all video content meets technical specifications, storytelling standards, and client expectations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing polished, platform-native work
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, shot selection, audio mixing, and color correction
- Experience developing editing workflows, templates, and quality assurance processes for high-volume content production
- Proven ability to mentor editors and lead creative reviews within collaborative teams
- Deep knowledge of video delivery specifications, codecs, aspect ratios, and platform requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted editing tools and emerging technologies to enhance workflows
Responsibilities
- Set the creative and technical standards for video editing across multiple campaigns and platforms
- Develop scalable editing systems, including project templates, file structures, and quality control standards
- Provide guidance, creative feedback, and mentorship to fellow editors to elevate storytelling and technical quality
- Ensure all assets meet platform specifications, delivery requirements, and client standards
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Motion Designers, Copywriters, and Project Managers to translate briefs into compelling video content
- Leverage AI-assisted editing tools and templated workflows to streamline production processes
- Build and maintain efficient media management practices to support high-volume content creation
- Champion operational excellence by improving collaboration and quality assurance protocols
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance creative workflows
