About This Role
This role is for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to lead video content production. You will edit a diverse range of visual media, including promotional video walkthroughs, podcast episodes, short-form reels/shorts, product highlights, and corporate presentations. The position involves transforming raw footage and audio into engaging, polished content that highlights work in holistic wellness, spatial energy architecture, and corporate consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Edit both long-form content (podcasts, property walkthroughs, workshops, podcasts) and short-form video assets (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional teasers)
- Clean audio tracks, adjust sound balance, synchronize voiceovers, and curate background score/ambient tracks
- Apply color correction, color grading, motion graphics, lower thirds, smooth transitions, and on-screen text overlays
- Process and edit multi-angle podcast and interview footage
- Work closely with the core team to structure storytelling formats, maintain brand consistency, and optimize content for digital platforms
- Design custom thumbnails, cover assets, and promotional images for YouTube and social media distribution
- Organize raw media files, project templates, and final outputs systematically across platforms
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong showreel/portfolio
- High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of frame rates, aspect ratios, platform specifications (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), and rendering formats
- Working knowledge of audio enhancement tools (Adobe Audition, Descript) and color grading tools
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively while maintaining consistent quality
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of video production, lighting, and multi-camera operation
- Experience with AI-assisted video editing and subtitle/captioning software
- Familiarity with wellness, lifestyle, or educational content styles
