About This Role
This video editor role is for a creative and detail-oriented professional with experience in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about visual storytelling and capable of producing engaging, high-quality videos for various digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional content, and internal communications
- Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms
- Add transitions, motion graphics, animations, subtitles, titles, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, audio editing, and video optimization
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements, campaign objectives, and target audiences
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, maintain visual consistency, and meet quality standards
- Organize video assets, maintain project files, and deliver completed projects within deadlines
- Incorporate feedback, make necessary revisions, and stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and social media trends
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing and digital content production
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, transitions, colour grading, and audio synchronization
- Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms
- Good communication, creativity, attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- A diploma or degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Visual Communication, or a related field
