About This Role
This video editor role focuses on creating high-quality, engaging video content for social media and other digital channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing videos, adding visual effects, creating reels and shorts, and producing professional video content that aligns with the brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and other digital content
- Add transitions, animations, visual effects, subtitles, text overlays, and background music
- Record and edit screen recordings, tutorials, and step-by-step demonstration videos when required
- Ensure proper video quality, audio clarity, color correction, and smooth transitions
- Create attractive thumbnails and basic promotional graphics when needed
- Follow current video editing trends and suggest creative content ideas
- Maintain consistent branding, including logos, fonts, colors, and visual styles
- Organize video files, project files, and other media assets
- Coordinate with the team to understand video requirements and complete projects on time
- Review and revise videos based on feedback
Requirements
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, or CapCut
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animations, and visual effects
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and export settings
- Creativity and a good sense of visual storytelling
- Basic knowledge of audio editing, color correction, and subtitle creation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn new editing techniques and tools
- Any degree, diploma, or relevant certification is preferred
- Freshers with good editing skills are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in video editing or content creation is an advantage
- A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work are preferred
