Vice President of Sales - Data Center Cooling & Mission Critical

About This Role

This high-visibility, executive leadership role is designed for an exceptional "A-player" who can optimize a lean foundational team of direct reports and drive aggressive top-line growth. You will be directly accountable for scaling the sales organization towards an increase in revenue, as well as the management and full build-out of the sales team. The Vice President of Sales will serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, taking full ownership of the commercial organization, revenue generation, and sales operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue, margin, and profitability objectives
• Lead, mentor, and expand an initial core team of direct reports, establishing a high-performance culture, rigorous accountability, and clear performance metrics
• Leverage an extensive, high-level professional network of enterprise accounts, specifiers, contractors, and channel partners to expand market penetration
• Oversee commercial budgets, resource allocation, and sales forecasting in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and executive leadership
• Partner with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams to align sales output with production capacity and long-term facility scaling goals

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive commercial sales leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, complex engineered capital equipment
• Demonstrated success scaling a commercial organization from mid-market levels to exponential revenue growth ($50M+ scale)
• Experience managing P&L and structuring sales incentives
• Deep familiarity selling into highly regulated, high-stakes institutional or industrial verticals (e.g., advanced manufacturing, critical infrastructure, healthcare, tech-enabled facilities, or heavy commercial construction)
• An established, active Rolodex of enterprise relationships, consulting engineers, major contractors, and key market stakeholders
• Exceptional executive presence, a high bias for action, strategic problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative approach
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
