Vice President of Operations

About This Role

This executive role involves overseeing and streamlining daily business operations, optimizing cross-functional workflows, and executing strategic initiatives aligned with the company's hyper-growth goals. Based in a hybrid capacity at the Lehi, UT headquarters, the Vice President of Operations will lead key operational teams, drive efficiency, and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Align operational strategy with MX's overall vision, business growth, and product roadmap
• Design, refine, and scale operational processes, workflows, and infrastructure to support long-term, multi-department growth
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and delivery of fintech solutions
• Oversee operational budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage P&L responsibilities to drive efficiency and operational ROI
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing operational leaders and specialists
• Ensure operations comply with relevant financial industry regulations, data privacy standards, and internal quality metrics

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, operations strategy, or business management, ideally within fintech, enterprise SaaS, or tech organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• Proven track record of scaling operations and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Deep understanding of tech/fintech operational models, metrics, and data-driven decision-making processes
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
