About This Role
This executive leadership role oversees company-wide operational execution, strategic initiatives, business scalability, and organizational development across multiple business units and affiliated companies. The Vice President works directly with executive leadership to drive operational efficiency, build scalable systems, manage cross-functional teams, and support long-term expansion within the defense, energetics, manufacturing, security, and government contracting sectors. The ideal candidate is experienced in leading fast-growth organizations, building operational infrastructure, and managing complex business operations in highly regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of executive leadership and strategic planning
- Oversee daily operations across all business units and affiliated entities
- Develop and implement scalable operational systems, SOPs, and organizational structure
- Ensure alignment between finance, operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, compliance, and business development
- Drive accountability, efficiency, and performance across departments
- Lead operational planning tied to company growth objectives and revenue targets
- Assist with organizational restructuring, hiring strategy, and executive leadership development
- Support long-term strategic growth initiatives and expansion opportunities
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic alliances
- Work alongside executive leadership on investor relations, growth planning, and capitalization strategy
- Support pricing strategy, margin optimization, and operational scalability
- Help oversee proposal strategy and execution for government and commercial opportunities
- Represent the company in executive-level meetings, partnerships, and industry engagements
- Oversee operational execution tied to manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and field operations
- Coordinate production scheduling, supply chain operations, and vendor management
- Monitor program execution, customer deliverables, and operational timelines
- Ensure inventory accountability and operational readiness across facilities
- Support implementation of ERP and operational tracking systems
- Assist with operational compliance across federal, state, and industry regulations
- Work closely with finance and compliance teams to maintain readiness for audits, government contracting requirements, and regulatory oversight
- Support safety culture, risk mitigation, and operational security protocols
- Ensure operational documentation, reporting, and accountability systems remain current and effective
- Build and manage high-performing operational teams
