Vice President of Operations

About This Role

This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective business functions that support LTC ACO's operational and strategic goals. It involves leading the design, delivery, and management of compliant ACO operations, as well as internal and external practice management functions for affiliated physician provider organizations. The position focuses on onboarding new providers and facilities, providing ongoing operational support, optimizing practice management, and executing transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the LTC ACO Executive Team to procure resources and develop systems for successful participation in strategic, value-based programs and initiatives, as well as PAI practice management service operations
• Support the development of goals and objectives and appropriate processes and outcome metrics related to successful ACO Operations and PAI practice management service obligations
• Design and deliver effective performance management tools for LTC ACO leadership and create and implement support systems to ensure compliance with applicable ACO contract obligations, provider and facility contract obligations, and regulatory rules and regulations
• Establish and monitor all internal and vendor Service Levels for respective operational functions
• Assure structure and process via documentation of all operational policies and procedures, SOPs, and ACO policy statements for internal and external constituents
• Develop flexible and scalable ACO operational platforms to optimize provider and facility access to billing, clinical and quality data
• Create and implement key practice transformation initiatives
• Participate in the sales process, where necessary, to understand and anticipate provider practice structures and supports needed to be successful participants with LTC ACO
• Develop and evolve new provider and facility implementation and new performance year roll over plans
• Evaluate opportunities for growth with existing partners, in concert with Performance Enhancement and Provider Recruiting leadership
• Lead new provider and facility ACO participation agreement implementations
• Develop and publish provider and facility training materials and communications, in collaboration with Quality and Performance Management Leadership
• Assist in the initial opportunity assessment and documented administration of LTC ACO beneficiary lists and statuses with contracted providers
• Routinely assess and communicate needs and opportunities to expand ACO growth with existing providers and facilities, year over year
• Actively participate in ongoing LTC ACO clinical initiatives, as required
• Collaborate with quality management staff to support achievement of quality goals and with compliance staff to support regulatory compliance
