Vice President of Finance

About This Role

This Vice President of Finance role is a hands-on position responsible for owning and building the finance function for a healthcare AI company. The core focus is on ensuring the finance function is always investor-ready, encompassing monthly close, GAAP financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close and GAAP financial statements, directly or through a managed outside firm
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and the operating financial model
• Handle board reporting and investor-grade KPI packages
• Participate in fundraising efforts, including data room, diligence responses, metrics, and cap table hygiene
• Oversee tax, audit, and compliance obligations
• Coordinate financial activities with the India subsidiary, including intercompany accounting

Requirements

• Hands-on finance leadership at a venture-backed technology company, as VP of Finance, Head of Finance, Controller, or CFO
• Direct, inside-the-company experience carrying a Series B or Series C raise, including building the model, running the data room, and answering diligence
• Responsibility for monthly close and GAAP reporting
• Fluency in SaaS metrics: ARR, net revenue retention, CAC, gross margin, unit economics
• Willingness to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ
