Vice President III Transaction Banking - Trade & Working Capital Sales

About This Role

This senior role in Global Transaction Banking focuses on originating and developing Trade Finance and Working Capital opportunities. The position aims to comprehensively understand the business, financial situation, and working capital needs of corporate clients to identify opportunities and build value propositions. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to clients and internal coverage teams, combining a strong commercial and Relationship Banking orientation with financial analysis skills, credit risk understanding, and knowledge of Trade & Working Capital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and follow up on Trade Finance and Working Capital business opportunities, from origination to execution
• Manage commercial coverage in coordination with relationship bankers, product specialists, and other relevant areas of the bank
• Build trusting relationships with corporate clients, understanding their financial, operational, and strategic needs
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and cross-sell based on comprehensive client knowledge
• Actively participate in meetings and presentations with clients, positioning yourself as an interlocutor with business knowledge and the ability to develop valuable financial solutions
• Analyze clients' financial and operational situations, including financial statements, balance sheet structure, cash flow, and main working capital drivers
• Analyze companies, sectors, business models, and relevant trends to identify opportunities and enrich the commercial strategy
• Incorporate a credit risk perspective in the evaluation and development of opportunities
• Translate financial, sectoral, and client analysis into commercial hypotheses and value propositions
• Develop opportunities related to letters of credit, guarantees, factoring and Receivables Finance, Confirming, Supply Chain Finance, working capital financing, Trade Finance, and related structured solutions
• Facilitate the participation of different specialists to offer comprehensive solutions focused on client needs
• Maintain a structured vision of the commercial pipeline, ensuring follow-up and progress of opportunities
• Ensure quality, clarity, and soundness in analysis, executive presentations, and commercial proposals

Requirements

• Experience developing relationships with corporate clients and originating commercial opportunities
• Practical experience in financial analysis, including reading and interpreting financial statements
• Knowledge of credit risk applied to corporate clients and business opportunities
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related economic-administrative field
• Advanced English
• Analysis and interpretation of financial statements
• Knowledge of working capital concepts and drivers
• Knowledge of credit risk
• Negotiation and management of corporate clients
• Advanced Excel
• Advanced PowerPoint and ability to prepare executive presentations
• Commercial orientation: ability to identify opportunities and convert client needs into valuable commercial proposals and conversations
• Client orientation: ability to understand the client's problems and objectives before proposing solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience or relevant knowledge in Trade Finance, Working Capital solutions, or related financial products
• Experience in financial structuring and more complex operations related to Trade & Working Capital
• Experience coordinating, guiding, or developing junior or Graduate profiles
• Solid background in corporate finance, financial analysis, and accounting
• Knowledge of Trade Finance and Working Capital
• Knowledge of factoring / Receivables Finance, Confirming, and Supply Chain Finance
• Knowledge of letters of credit and guarantees
• Knowledge of financial structuring and working capital financing solutions
• Ability to perform sectoral, financial, and company analysis
