About This Role
This strategic professional role involves staying updated on developments in data science and applying them to business strategies. The incumbent acts as a recognized technical authority within their field, influencing colleagues and external customers through complex deliverables. The work significantly impacts the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function or job family.
Responsibilities
- Work with large and complex internal and external data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
- Identify and compile data sets using a variety of tools (e.g., SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
- Document data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, which may include utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience
- Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry
- Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation as well as proficient analytical skills
- Excellent analytic ability and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent MS Excel skills to develop analytic presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment
- Bachelors/University degree

- Master's degree preferred
