We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight/Emergency (ER) team . This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in high-acuity situations, enjoy critical thinking, and are passionate about emergency and critical care medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and assess emergency and critical patients
- Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, diagnostics, and surgeries
- Monitor and manage hospitalized and critical care patients
- Place IV catheters, draw blood, run laboratory tests, and administer medications
- Operate and maintain anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, team members, and pet owners during high-stress situations
- Accurately maintain medical records and treatment sheets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe ER environment
