Job Description We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, a willingness to learn, and solid knowledge of both animal behavior and medical procedures. This role requires a dedicated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized animals.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding animal care and treatment plans.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic and equipment.
- Support the team during every other weekend shifts as scheduled.
Qualifications & Skills
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Experience or knowledge in animal care and medical procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and pet owners.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
