Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for hospitalized ICU patients
- Collaborate with surgery, internal medicine, and oncology services on patient care
- Monitor patients closely throughout the night and keep the care team informed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, both in person and by phone
- Support a calm, organized, and team-oriented ICU environment
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician
- Excellent client communication skills, both in person and by phone
- A calm, patient approach and a team-player mindset
- Comfort working overnight shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
