Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medical, surgical, dental, preventive, and urgent care services within the scope of practice
- Utilize diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and other medical technologies to support patient care
- Communicate treatment recommendations and preventive healthcare guidance to clients
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Uphold high standards of veterinary medicine, patient safety, and client service
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical judgment and medical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
