Responsibilities
- Safely operate Company van to transport passengers within the city of Philadelphia, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers as needed and ensuring a comfortable experience
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in optimal condition
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents that occur during shifts
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and passenger confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding scheduling, delays, or issues encountered during transportation
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating vans or similar vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and route planning
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant transportation regulations
- Be at least 25 years old
- At least three (3) years of experience transporting passengers
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI Criminal History Background Check
- Act 168 Employment History Review
- Valid Pennsylvania Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training Certificate
- Physical and Tuberculosis (TB) screening demonstrating fitness for role
- Drug and alcohol screening
- No criminal/driving records in the past three years
