About This Role
This security guard role involves safely transporting and guarding cash, precious metals, and securities in a specialized security vehicle. The work is always carried out in a team of two or more people, making it a safe role for those new to the field. Responsibilities
- Transport, collect, and deliver valuables in specialized security vehicles
- Patrol financial institutions, amusement facilities, and commercial stores to collect sales proceeds
- Load cash and valuables in special bags onto the vehicle and deliver or collect them safely and accurately at designated locations
- Drive security vehicles and maintain vigilance of the surroundings during transit
- Drive safely along predetermined routes, alternating between driving and vigilance duties
- Check and guard the surroundings for suspicious persons or dangers around parking lots and store entrances at delivery destinations
- Input and confirm collection and delivery data
- Confirm receipt stamps and check quantities of collected/delivered items through simple data entry
- Operate a dedicated handheld terminal by pressing buttons according to the screen, without complex computer operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ordinary driver's license
