About This Role
This valet position is crucial for creating a positive and memorable experience for members and guests at The Country Club. You will be one of the first and last points of contact, responsible for offering a warm welcome, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and assisting with various inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve members' and guests' vehicles
- Assist members and guests entering and exiting vehicles, including helping with luggage and personal belongings
- Issue and collect vehicle claim tickets while maintaining an organized valet operation
- Open Clubhouse doors, provide directions, and assist members and guests with general inquiries
- Help arrange transportation and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming Clubhouse entrances and parking areas
- Monitor entrances and follow Club procedures to help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide prompt and attentive service
- Follow established safety procedures, including responding appropriately during emergencies
- Attend staff meetings and assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine commitment to exceptional hospitality
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Club requirements
- Ability to safely and confidently operate passenger vehicles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and coworkers
- Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move quickly throughout a shift, including entering and exiting vehicles of various sizes
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
