About This Role

This valet position involves assisting guests and visitors entering and exiting the hotel, managing vehicle traffic, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. The role suits someone who can maintain the security and cleanliness of parking areas while ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of traffic.

Responsibilities

• Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and exiting the hotel
• Control and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic, including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses, to ensure legal parking and maintain smooth, efficient traffic flow
• Provide directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local areas of interest
• Monitor and maintain the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas and levels, reporting any vehicle or safety hazards or potential security issues to management or supervisors
• Maintain the security of vehicles and their keys
• Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address their service needs; thank them with genuine appreciation; assist individuals with disabilities
• Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate protocol
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to achieve common goals
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for the entire work shift
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent General Education Development certificate
• No related work experience required
• No supervisory experience required

Mandatory Skills:

• Valid driver's license
