About This Role
This UX Researcher role is central to transforming complex financial services into simple, intuitive experiences by systematically exploring user behavior, needs, and perceptions. The role involves converting these insights into actionable strategies to improve user experience and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute user research strategies across all services (qualitative/quantitative research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, etc.)
- Define problems and derive key insights based on user behavior data, log analysis, VOC, and other sources
- Participate from the initial product planning stages to lead hypothesis generation and validation from a user perspective
- Collaborate with designers, planners, developers, and other stakeholders to incorporate research findings into product strategy and UX direction
- Structure and share research findings clearly and persuasively (reports, workshops, presentations, etc.)
- Define key UX metrics and support A/B test design and results interpretation
- Contribute to building a repetitive research system to enhance organizational understanding of users and UX maturity
Requirements
- 4+ years of practical experience in UX research or user research
- Deep understanding of qualitative/quantitative research methodologies and experience applying them in actual projects
- Ability to structure user problems and connect data-driven insights to product/business perspectives
- Communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and persuasively convey research results
- Ability to logically interpret complex user behavior and financial service contexts, and derive insights
- Experience with experiment-based decision-making, such as usability testing and log analysis
Nice to have:
- UX research experience in regulated domains such as finance, securities, or fintech
- Experience operating research in an Agile/sprint environment
- Research experience linked to business metrics such as UX KPI, conversion rate (CVR), and retention
- Experience building UX research processes or research culture within an organization
