Schedule: Onsite, 6:00am-2:30pm OR 2:30pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $22 per hour
Job Description Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, follow established work instructions, and perform high-quality assembly work while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, label, and inspect electrical control panels, cabinets, and related electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Install and route wiring according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.
- Verify component placement, wiring accuracy, and overall build quality before final inspection.
- Troubleshoot minor assembly and wiring issues and make necessary corrections.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, manufacturing assembly, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of electrical components, circuits, and wiring practices.
- Experience assembling industrial control panels or electrical cabinets is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for detailed assembly work.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
