About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases - Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing - Identify, debug, and report software defects and inconsistencies - Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript) - Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies to report testing progress and highlight blockers - Conduct root cause analysis of defects, including customer-reported issues - Work closely with developers to gather diagnostic artifacts such as logs and performance metrics - Participate in peer reviews of requirements, code, test cases, and documentation - Own and advocate for overall product quality throughout the development cycle

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience - Solid understanding of Software Testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle processes - Experience writing automated tests using JavaScript frameworks, particularly Playwright - Familiarity with various Test Design Techniques (e.g., boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning) - Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum development environments - Preferred exposure to tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins - Experience with test management tools (e.g., Testmo, TestRail, or equivalents) - Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills - Strong collaboration and communication abilities - Highly organized, self-driven, and committed to continuous improvement
