Working closely with Registered Nurses and the broader clinical team, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care while supporting the smooth operation of the centre and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical skills, work alongside experienced healthcare professionals and build your career in the growing field of Urgent Care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within your scope of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to assess and care for patients presenting with injuries and illnesses.

  • Administer medications and provide clinical care in accordance with policies, procedures and your scope of practice.
  • Provide wound care, plastering and assistance with clinical procedures.
  • Educate patients to support their recovery and ongoing care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation.
  • Support a welcoming, organised and efficient clinical environment, including stock management and daily centre operations.
  • Assist with administrative processes, including Medicare billing, accurate coding and patient registration.
  • Welcome patients, assist with appointments and maintain accurate patient information.
  • Maintain professional standards and comply with ForHealth policies, procedures and clinical guidelines.
  • Contribute to workplace health and safety by reporting hazards and incidents and participating in safety initiatives.
