About This Role
This engineering role involves developing advanced simulators and real-time software applications for Aerospace & Defence projects. The Unreal Engine Developer will work with Unreal Engine and Modern C++ to create innovative, high-performance solutions, contributing to the entire product lifecycle and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using Modern C++ and Unreal Engine 5
- Design and implement high-performance software functionalities in real-time contexts
- Apply principles of Object-Oriented Programming, Software Design, and Design Patterns to develop robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions
- Optimize performance, memory management, and multithreading activities
- Participate in software testing, debugging, and integration activities
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in C++ software development
- Excellent knowledge of Modern C++ (C++17/20)
- Experience in developing applications with Unreal Engine 4/5
- In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and Software Architecture principles
- Experience in performance optimization and memory management
- Familiarity with algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git)
- Good knowledge of Italian and English languages
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related disciplines
