Unreal Engine 3D Artist

About This Role

This role is for an experienced 3D realtime artist to create interactive architecture and cinematic flythroughs using Unreal Engine, with a focus on 3D environments and UI/UX design. The position can be office or home-based, and suits an artist with strong modeling, texturing, and mapping skills, along with a portfolio showcasing design skills and visual flair.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D environments
• Design and implement UI/UX menus
• Use Unreal Engine to create interactive architecture and cinematic flythroughs
• Manage customers and clients effectively
• Manage projects effectively
• Map predefined textures and create new textures
• Create 3D modeling
• Create blueprint assets
• Produce strong 2D/3D illustrations and game UI design
• Understand optimization principles
• Work with UE4
• Create high-quality realistic lighting and materials
• Maintain a highly organized approach to working in a team and alone

Requirements

• Ability with 3D Studio Max and Adobe Photoshop
• Create normal maps using 3ds Max, Photoshop, ZBrush or CrazyBump
• Model and texture both high and low polygon environments
• UV mapping skills with efficient layouts
• Understanding of form, composition, colour and light in environments and architecture
• 2 years of Unreal experience

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in working with architecture and interior visualisations
• Comfortable working in 3D Max
• Both low and high poly modelling
• Experience with VRay, AfterFX, ZBrush, or Mudbox
