About the role
Role: The Gig Ultrasound Technologist operates imaging equipment, primarily ultrasound devices, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities: Ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety, and collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. The position involves floating across multiple facilities, providing flexible scheduling, and supporting patient care through technical expertise.
Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited Sonography program with clinical experience, hold 2 relevant certifications (ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI), and BLS certification. State licensure may be required. Strong communication, technical proficiency, and a compassionate attitude are essential.
Key Duties: Operate ultrasound and imaging software, ensure safety standards, and deliver exceptional patient care while collaborating within a healthcare team.
