About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team remotely for a period of 30 to 60 days. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on live products used by thousands of users across India, contributing to the design and improvement of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will approach design with a problem-solving mindset, focusing on creating user-centric solutions that enhance functionality and user experience. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and operations to develop intuitive interfaces and streamline user journeys. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and contribution.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 months of design experience gained through internships, freelance projects, part-time roles, or full-time positions. A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of user experience principles is essential. Candidates should have a solid grasp of user flows, usability, and UI/UX fundamentals, coupled with a keen eye for visual detail and aesthetics. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or React is considered a plus. Additionally, a willingness to learn, accept constructive feedback, and experiment with new ideas is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and business requirements to identify pain points and develop effective design solutions.
• Conduct basic user research, gather insights, and incorporate feedback to refine designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and operations teams to enhance user flows and UI elements, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Identify friction points within existing products and propose simplified, user-friendly improvements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs aligned with user and business objectives.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system that supports consistency across all platforms and products.
• Design for various components within the Drivers4Me ecosystem, including customer apps, driver apps, operations consoles, and SaaS platforms.
• Ensure that the designed products and features are functional and used effectively by a large user base.
