Typescript Developer

About This Role

Developing scalable web applications and software solutions using TypeScript and modern JavaScript technologies is the core of this role. The position involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining these applications. It suits a skilled TypeScript Developer with strong hands-on experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern frontend or backend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and maintainable applications using TypeScript
• Write clean, reusable, and strongly typed code
• Develop frontend applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks
• Develop backend services using Node.js where required
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs
• Implement application components, business logic, and workflows
• Work with databases and data-access layers
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues
• Optimize application performance and code quality
• Write unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Use Git for source code management
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
• Maintain technical documentation where required

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+
• Good understanding of TypeScript including: Interfaces, Types, Generics, Classes, Enums, Utility Types, Type Guards, Async/Await
• Experience with at least one modern framework: React.js, Angular, Node.js, NestJS
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for frontend-oriented roles
• Knowledge of Git/version control
• Good understanding of software development principles
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 26 years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript development
• Experience building production-grade web applications or backend services
• Good understanding of modern JavaScript development
• Experience working with frontend or backend frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
