The GCSE and Functional Skills Changemaker (Core Subjects)
In a year where the attainment gap is wider than ever, dont just teach:level the playing field. We are looking for tutors in Leicester who believe that a students potential shouldnt be capped by their circumstances.
- The Role: Youll deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in English, Maths, or Science, focusing on GCSE or Functional Skills pathways.
- The Students: You will support young people who are currently outside the traditional classroom, often referred by the local authority because they need a different approach to thrive.
- Outside the Classroom: Forget the whiteboards and rows of desks. Youll work in student homes or local community spaces like libraries, creating a relaxed environment where learning actually clicks.
- The Pay: GBP30 : GBP35 per hour (dependant on experience).
- Weekly context: With our tutors working anywhere from 5 to 33 hours per week, you could earn between GBP150 and GBP1,155 per week, depending on your chosen workload.
- Perfect for Parents: Since most sessions take place during the school day, this role is a dream for working parents. You can handle the morning drop:off and afternoon pick:up with ease, fitting your sessions into that golden window of school hours.
