About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate turret trucks to transport, store, and retrieve inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Safely work within narrow aisles and elevated storage locations.
- Load, unload, and relocate materials while ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and communicate maintenance concerns as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Support additional warehouse functions, including order fulfillment, picking, packing, and inventory activities.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of turret truck operating experience required.
- Previous experience working in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Forklift and/or turret truck certification is preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Comfortable working at heights and operating equipment in narrow aisle environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
