Your work profile
- This is an SDET role, so hands-on coding ability and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Simply knowing automation frameworks, tools, or technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Robot Framework, or Playwright is not sufficient.
- Candidates will be evaluated based on their coding and logical skills and will be required to solve coding challenges during the technical rounds.
Key skills required
- 6-9 years of experience
- SDET: Cypress+ JavaScript/TypeScript Automation
1. Automation Expertise (Mandatory)
- Proficient in Cypress using JavaScript (Node.js)/ TypeScript for end-to-end web application testing.
- Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Cypress/ Rest Assured for deeper integration and control.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory
2. Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript/ TypeScript.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment.
- Experience in DevOps environments, including:
- Working with Docker images
- Configuring GitLab CI/CD
- Writing and managing YAML files
- Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, JIRA or similar platforms.
3. Quality Process Orientation (Mandatory)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
- Proven experience in testing web-based applications across diverse domains.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern software testing practices, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
4. Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) testing using tools like: K6 , Sitespeed.io
Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
