Trucking Coordinator

About This Role

Managing the day-to-day trucking operations is the core responsibility of the Trucking Coordinator, who works closely with drivers, dispatchers, and clients to coordinate deliveries and optimize routes. This role suits an organized and proactive individual with a strong understanding of trucking operations and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong client relationships with contractors and equipment users, managing calls, lead follow-ups, and rental/transport coordination for drilling and production equipment.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations, including dispatching, routing, and scheduling.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing guidance, addressing concerns, and ensuring adherence to safety policies.
• Monitor truck and trailer availability, ensure proper assignment, and assist in managing fleet resources.
• Support compliance with transportation regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and other operational reports.
• Quickly address operational issues such as delays, route changes, or equipment problems to maintain service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in oilfield trucking coordination, dispatch, or logistics support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with dispatch software, transportation management systems, and route planning tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.
