About This Role
This dispatcher role involves coordinating fluid movement, organizing equipment and drivers, and managing incoming calls for a growing and busy oilfield rentals company. The position requires close collaboration with management and drivers, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of fluid movement
- Organize equipment and drivers
- Handle all incoming calls to dispatch using professional telephone etiquette
- Record hauling requirements from customers
- Provide timely support and information to company drivers, sub-contractors, and owner operators, including instructions to lease locations
- Coordinate with Field Supervisors to ensure drivers are operating professionally and following SOPs
- Coordinate with Operations Managers, as necessary, to ensure field issues are rectified and customers and operators satisfied
- Ensure that methanol is supervised while on and offloaded in the yard
- Work with maintenance staff to make sure truck maintenance is prioritized
- Audit field tickets and enter into Axon
- Issue purchase orders when required
- Make sure field staff hand in paperwork in a timely manner
- Check and monitor weight and time bands
- Pay attention to detail and diligently gather information for specialized jobs (using a cheat sheet as guidance)
- Maintain honest communication with drivers
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage drivers effectively and efficiently
- Willingness to go above and beyond job duties as necessary (i.e., run tank trucks, swamping, assist on pumpers, etc.)
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- English language (required)
- 5 years of experience in dispatch or a related field (required)

- Schedule: Day shift; night shift can be a 10/4 or 15/6
