Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Tropical Smoothie Cafe Manager to lead our two Oviedo location. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, in-store environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring standards are met, and driving the overall success of both stores. You will own all aspects of the business—from team leadership and guest satisfaction to financial performance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily store operations across both Oviedo locations, ensuring smooth shift execution and high-quality service.
- Actively participate in running shifts on the line, demonstrating hands-on leadership and maintaining operational standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and growth.
- Oversee guest experience by ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and upholding brand standards.
- Monitor financial performance including sales, costs, and inventory to meet or exceed business goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales.
- Address customer concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain a positive store atmosphere that motivates staff and encourages high performance.
- Collaborate with regional support teams to optimize operations and share best practices.
- Three or more years of management experience at a high volume quick service or fast casual restaurant. We are specifically interested in operators who have come up through national QSR brands such as McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Panera, or similar
- A track record of hiring, training, and keeping a team together
- Comfort with POS systems, inventory management, and reading a basic P&L
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as the business requires
- Reliable transportation and the ability to move between both locations daily
Strongly preferred
- Experience managing more than one location at once
- ServSafe Manager certification, or willingness to obtain it within 60 days
- Experience with delivery platforms and third party ordering
- Bilingual English and Spanish
Physical requirements
- Able to stand and move for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000, based on experience
- Performance bonus tied to food cost, labor cost, and guest satisfaction
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
