About This Role
This nursing position involves providing general nursing care for pediatric patients and supporting their families, working as part of a dedicated team in a large practice. The role suits a licensed nurse who is committed to excellent patient care and is looking for an opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform general nursing care for patients under the direction of the providers
- Arrange patient referrals to specialists, special tests, and/or hospital admissions
- Provide educational aids and information to parent/patients by telephone or in person
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License
- Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment
- Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care
- Possess the ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly and effectively in emergencies, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures, communicate clearly, and work effectively with co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality of clinical information
Nice to have:

Important Details
- Schedule: Daytime weekday schedule between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM; once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic (8 AM-1 PM)
- Work format: This is not a telework eligible position
