About the role
Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire for an experienced Treasury Manager to join its regional finance team in Singapore. This is a hands-on regional role responsible for driving treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, banking relationships and financial risk management across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage regional cash flow, liquidity and working capital, including cash forecasting and funding requirements across APAC entities.
- Oversee cash management and banking activities, ensuring sufficient liquidity and efficient utilisation of funds across the region.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with regional and local banking partners, including banking facilities, credit lines and treasury services.
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, supporting appropriate hedging strategies and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Drive improvements in cash visibility, treasury controls and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and governance.
- Support intercompany funding, loans, capital requirements and cross-border transactions across regional entities.
- Partner closely with local and regional Finance teams on treasury-related matters and provide guidance on cash and financial risk management.
- Ensure treasury activities comply with relevant internal policies, controls and regulatory requirements across the region.
- Support treasury transformation and system/process enhancement initiatives as the organisation continues to strengthen its regional finance capabilities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline; professional qualifications will be advantageous.
- Approximately 7–10+ years of relevant treasury experience, ideally gained within an MNC or regional environment.
- Strong hands-on experience across cash and liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking and FX management.
- Prior experience managing treasury activities across multiple APAC markets would be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of cross-border funding, banking facilities and financial risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work through complex regional treasury matters.
- Confident stakeholder manager who is comfortable partnering with senior Finance stakeholders, local teams and external banking partners.
- Proactive and hands-on, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving regional environment.
