Treasury Analyst - Remote

About This Role

The Treasury Analyst performs daily treasury operations and supports the Treasury Lead in overseeing the organization's global cash management, liquidity, foreign currency exposure, and banking relationships. This role involves hands-on experience in banking operations, KYC compliance, preparing treasury reports, and reconciliations, and works closely with the Global Treasury Lead and other finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Update daily cash position and prepare necessary reconciliations and reports for review
• Suggest and execute fund transfers as needed, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet obligations
• Obtain and validate inputs for short- and long-term cash flow forecasting
• Track actuals against forecasts and provide necessary inputs to enhance accuracy
• Work closely with OTC, AP, and Payroll teams to collect inputs for cash forecasting and track actuals
• Execute and advise Fx hedging initiatives within the limits of the Fx Risk policy
• Manage foreign currency exposure for the group
• Ensure all hedges are documented and approved as per company policy
• Keep track of insurance policy to manage operational and business risks
• Ensure timely renewal actions and track premium payments with a focus on optimizing costs and coverage
• Maintain bank account governance, signatory authorities, and compliance across all jurisdictions
• Update all bank reconciliations on a regular basis, at least fortnightly
• Support preparation of treasury reports for senior management, the board/audit committee, and the CFO, including liquidity metrics and risk analysis
• Look for opportunities for process improvement and provide inputs for the same
• Establish and enforce treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls

Requirements

• Overall experience of 5 years with 2+ years of corporate treasury experience in a multinational, multi-currency environment
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Strong focus on process improvement and automation
• Demonstrates high standards of accuracy and reliability in financial reporting

Nice to have:

• Semi qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) / MBA
• Working knowledge in Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, FIS) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuie, SAP, Oracle)
