Treasury Analyst

About This Role

This Treasury Analyst role is a vital financial stewardship position, ensuring the organization has the necessary cash flow and managing over 200 bank accounts. The role involves navigating the complexities of the financial landscape with accuracy and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the company's daily cash position
• Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs
• Optimize cash management processes, including bank reconciliation and daily cash positioning and reporting
• Execute payments and ensure proper access for users
• Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners
• Optimize cash management services
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, SOX)
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Act as the bank intermediary, supporting the Pennant organization's banking requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounting
• Proven experience in treasury management or related financial roles
• Strong understanding of financial principles, cash management, risk analysis, and financial regulations
• Proficiency in financial software, treasury management systems (TMS), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and banking partners
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
